Sophie, ECE, Director
My passions lay with creating supportive, enriching enviroments for children and families. I believe that children have an active role in our society and honor their position within the classroom. Centennial Daycare work hands on with supporting children's authenticity and exploring the world together in the classroom. I couldn't be more thankful for the oppurtunity I have been given to direct and work along side the team and class.

Working with children has always been my passion. I have worked with children most of my life in a variety of ways. Seeing the smiles, hearing the laughter, and observing the growth and development of each child is a joy. My belief is that children learn and grow through play, exploration, discovery, and creativity.

Maria, ECE, SNE
Hello, my name is Maria! I moved to Canada with my husband and my 3 teenagers almost 3 years ago from Mexico where I had studied to be an Elementary School Teacher! I have lived in different countries with my family and understand the importance of supporting different cultures and diverse needs. Since being in Canada, I have studied at Camosun College and am now registered as an Early Childhood Educator with a Specialized Certification in Inclusive Learning and Care. As working with children has always been my passion, I am thankful and happy to be a part of Centennial Day Care where I continue my journey of learning alongside children. I believe that I receive and learn more children than what I offer and I enjoy seeing them create magic with their little hands! Getting to witness how they learn, imagine and experiment through play is a real blessing.

Marie, ECE
Hello families, my name is Marie, and I have been working as an ECE since 2010 in Seoul, Korea. Due to the nature of my father's work, I had the opportunity to live in many different countries as a child, which allowed me to experience various cultures, diversity, and acceptance. I still remember the teachers who guided and supported me during that time and understand how crucial their role was. I love connecting with children and families, helping them learn through relationships, and being a part of their growth journey. I can proudly say that this profession is deeply fulfilling for me, and I am very happy to have the opportunity to work as a member of Centennial.
